Valiant expands throughout Switzerland
Bank Valiant plans to open 14 new branches in the coming years. Five new openings are planned for this year alone.
As Valiant announced on the occasion of the publication of its quarterly figures, a branch office will open in Zurich-Oerlikon at the end of May, and the branch office in Liestal (BL) will go live on June 21.
Locations have already been found for future branches in Bülach, Frauenfeld, Wohlen, Wädenswil, Winterthur, Uster and Pully, the bank said. A total of 14 additional branches are planned by 2024 as part of the expansion strategy.
In the first quarter of 2021, Valiant reported a net profit of CHF 26.5 million, an increase of 1.5% compared to the same period last year. Operating income increased by 6.4% to 101.6 million and operating profit reached 32.3 million, an increase of 2.7%. (ah)
