Steiner Group: Karsten Hell becomes new CEO
Steiner Group has newly appointed Karsten Hell as Chief Executive Officer. He was previously Chief Operating Officer of Steiner AG and succeeds Daniel Ducrey.

Karsten Hell has been responsible for the Swiss market as COO at Steiner since 2013; in this role, he is also a member of the Executive Board.
Between 1994 and 2012, he held various management positions at Alpine Bau Deutschland, where he served as CEO from 2007. He also held management positions at the German company E. Gottschall Bauunternehmung between 1991 and 1994. Thanks to his extensive international experience in Europe and Asia, Hell brings with him ideal prerequisites for his future task, Steiner Group writes in a statement.
His predecessor as CEO, Daniel Ducrey, left the Group at the beginning of July "to pursue other professional interests," according to the company. Karsten Hell took over his new function as of July 5.
Steiner AG is one of the largest project developers as well as total and general contractors in Switzerland. Founded in 1915, the company is headquartered in Zurich and has branches in Basel, Bern, Geneva, Tolochenaz, Lucerne and St. Gallen.
