Akara announces capital increase for Akara Swiss Diversity Property Fund
Akara Funds is carrying out a capital increase for the real estate fund Akara Swiss Diversity Property Fund. The proceeds will primarily be used to acquire additional properties and projects.
According to Akara Funds, a maximum of 184,800 new units in the fund are to be issued at a net price of CHF 1,069 each. The issue volume is therefore around 197.5 million.
The issue will be carried out from April 23 to June 1 on a "best effort basis" as part of a subscription offer to authorized investors in Switzerland - pension funds as well as social insurance and compensation funds. Ten existing units entitle the holder to subscribe to seven new units. Unsubscribed units will not be issued.
The fund management company intends to inform investors of the definitive number of new units to be issued by June 20, 2018 at the latest. The new units will be paid out on June 26, 2018.
