Sebastian Zollinger, 35, has taken over the position of Head Real Estate Valuation at EY Switzerland as of July 1. His predecessor Rolf Bach will continue to work for EY as a consultant until the end of the year, the company says.

Zollinger holds a degree in business administration and brings with him several years of experience in the real estate sector. Previous stations in his career include Wüest Partner and UBS Switzerland.

Zollinger will now head the valuation team at EY Switzerland. It deals with modeling and financial analyses in order to perform market analyses and real estate valuations of individual properties and portfolios for institutional investors, also across countries.

Zollinger's predecessor Rolf Bach left EY at the end of June "to pursue new professional challenges," according to EY. However, he will remain available to the company as a consultant until the end of the year.

As Claudio Rudolf, Partner and Head Real Estate EY Switzerland, says, Zollinger will optimize process flows and valuation tools and "drive digital capabilities."
