Alnatura: Müller takes over ten stores
Migros Zurich intends to use four of the 25 Alnatura spaces itself and is still working on a solution for seven others.

A significant proportion of the Alnatura chain of organic stores operated by the Migros Cooperative Zurich is being sold to the German drugstore chain Müller. According to Migros, Müller is taking over a total of ten locations. In each case, four supermarkets will be returned to the owners when their leases expire or will be used by Migros itself in future, while negotiations are underway for "individual solutions" for seven other locations, according to the statement. "Migros Zurich is confident of finding suitable new tenants for the remaining locations: These may come from within or outside the Migros Group," the company writes.
The stores in Bern/Aarbergerstrasse and Bern/Scheibenstrasse, the stores in Stäfa, St. Gallen, Thalwil and Uster as well as Winterthur/Grüze and Winterthur/Neuwiesen and Zurich/Kreuzplatz and Zurich/Löwenstrasse will go to Müller. The internal solution concerns the Zurich sites in Höngg, Limmatplatz, Oerlikon and Hauptbahnhof/Sihlquai. There is no subsequent use for the Alnatura stores in Baden, Basel/Kirschgarten, Bern/Bärenplatz and Zug/Metalli. However, the individual solutions mentioned are being developed for Basel/Gerbergasse, Bülach/Sonnenhof, Lucerne, Meilen, Solothurn, Wädenswil and Zurich/Niederdorf. (aw)
