Conforama opens in Visp
Conforama continues to expand and opens a store in Visp (VS) on June 5. It is the furnishing chain's second store in Valais.
The new location in Visp has more than 4,000 square meters of exhibition space; the focus of the range of goods is on decoration, interior design and consumer electronics.
Patrice Dupasquier, Managing Director of Conforama Switzerland, says: "This second store in Valais is proof of our willingness to expand to the heart of Switzerland, to reach out to new customers and to do everything we can to win over the people of the Upper Valais region."
The Conforama Group operates 321 stores. Of these, 226 are in France and 95 more in Spain, Switzerland, Portugal, Luxembourg, Italy, Croatia and Serbia. The company generates sales of 3.5 billion euros (before taxes) and employs 14,700 people. In Switzerland, the company has been active since 1976 and now operates 20 stores nationwide.
