In the PostParc at Bern station, Migros offers a mix of 25 stores, take-away and service offers as well as restaurants on eight decks and 10,000 square meters. In addition, there is a Migros club school, room concepts for meetings and seminars, and a coworking space.

In the retail area (deck 0 to deck 2), Welle 7 offers some novel services: Customers can have letters and parcels delivered to the "Collect Lounge" and try out their contents on the spot. Medicines ordered on the Internet can also be picked up at the flagship store of the online pharmacy Zur Rose. People who want to do their laundry on the way and also want a coffee and an Italian snack can do so in the "Washbar." Deck 2 has direct access from the station passerelle.

"We are delighted that, after an intensive period of preparation, we can start on schedule with one of the most trend-setting centers of its kind," says Beat Zahnd, Managing Director of Migros Aare. "We are convinced that Welle 7 will become an indispensable hub in the demanding and fast-paced daily lives of mobile people."

According to media reports, the investment amounts to CHF 55 million. Within five years, the new center should be "up and running," as Anton Gäumann, the future managing director of Migros Aare, said in a conversation with the sda said. About 50,000 people pass by Welle 7 every day. (ah)
