Pratteln: Cham Swiss takes over Bredella site completely

The missing 31% share in Bredella Beteiligungen AG, which holds the site, is to be transferred to Cham Swiss Properties via a share swap or a capital increase.

Cham Swiss Properties AG has agreed with the minority shareholders of its subsidiary Bredella Beteiligungen AG to acquire all shares. It is taking over their stake of 30.9% as part of a share swap for treasury shares. Following this takeover, Bredella Beteiligungen AG and thus the Bredella site in Pratteln will belong to Cham Swiss Properties for 100%.

The transaction is to be completed following an ordinary capital increase. It is planned that this will take place within the framework of the capital band created at the last Annual General Meeting. As part of this capital increase, almost 1.5 million registered shares with a nominal value of three centimes per share are to be allocated as treasury shares. The minority interests will be acquired at NAV as at December 31, 2025, adjusted for the dividend paid out in May. The number of outstanding registered shares of Cham Swiss Properties will thus increase by 3.0% to a good 48.9 million.

The Bredella site at Pratteln railroad station is now almost fully let and, with its 82,600 square meters, is to be transformed into a central quarter in several stages. The concept envisages a proportion of 70% for residential use and 30% for work. In the fall of 2024, the first stage of the project was a major success at the ballot box (IB reported).
