Allreal is acquiring the northern site of the «Gartenstadt Köschenrüti» development project in Zurich-Seebach from the Rheinmetall pension fund. Allreal had already been commissioned to develop the site as a service developer in 2021, and last year the Group was awarded the contract as total contractor for the realization of the project.

A residential quarter with 300 apartments is to be built on Köschenrütistrasse in Zurich Seebach from 2026. The legally binding building permit has been in place since the turn of the year. The project will be realized in two stages. According to the schedule, demolition work on the south site will begin in the second quarter of 2026, where a total of 207 new apartments will be built by 2029, which will remain the property of the seller. Work on the 93 apartments on the north site will begin one year later. Occupation of the new rental apartments is planned for the first quarter of 2030.

The project is aiming for SNBS Gold certification. «In the spirit of the garden city, great importance is attached to an attractive outdoor space design, thus creating a high quality of stay for the local population,» writes Allreal.
