Saas-Fee: Dorint takes over «The Dom Hotel»
This is the seventh hotel in Switzerland to bear the German hotel chain's brand.
From December 11, Dorint Hotels & Resorts Schweiz GmbH will be managing «The Dom Hotel» in Saas-Fee, Valais. According to a press release, the owner, Hotel Dom Saas Fee AG, is planning an extension and renovation work on the existing building over the next three years. The hotel is located on the village square and has 35 rooms and suites, a restaurant with bar and a separate breakfast restaurant. In future, it will be run under the name «The Dom Hotel Saas-Fee, operated by Dorint», initially as a white label hotel.
With the takeover of the hotel, the Swiss branch of the German hotel chain, which is set up as a franchisee, already operates seven hotels under the Dorint brand. The existing locations are Beatenberg/Interlaken, Locarno/Riazzino, Bad Zurzach, Zurich Airport and two «Essential by Dorint» hotels in Basel and Interlaken. (aw)
