Zurich: Topping-out ceremony for the "Mach" commercial building
The shell of the building at Koch-Park is complete and, according to Senn, all but one fifth of the 15,000 square meters of commercial space has been taken.

The "Mach" commercial building in Zurich-Altstetten has been erected. According to developer Senn, 80% of the building in the new Koch quarter has already been let. Among others, the Walter Buchmann bakery will move in with its new production site and operate a café on the first floor. According to the statement, it has signed a 30-year lease. The 15,000 square meter building for the manufacturing industry is due to open next year.
The building's special features include extra-high rooms and high payloads. In addition to the aforementioned bakery, tenants include the powerbank rental company Chimpy, the Swiss Made software development company Ti&M, Flash Kurier, the robotics engineering company Joylabdue, the fashion company Las Perlitas, Rubi Bahntechnik, the Yoga Medica Academy and the Plexiglas specialist Perplex. In addition, two recording studios will be located in the "Mach": 571 Recording Studios and TonVerein.
Mach" is being built on the border of the Albisrieden and Altstetten districts, right next to the city's Koch Park. ABZ, Kraftwerk 1, Grün Stadt Zürich and Senn will create affordable housing, studios for creative work, workshops for manufacturing, stores for everyday needs, restaurants and cultural spaces here by 2026.
