Zurich: "Manegghof" shell completed
The final sub-project of the "Greencity" quarter developed by Losinger Marazzi mainly comprises apartments for the elderly.
Losinger Marazzi has celebrated the topping-out ceremony for the "Manegghof" project in Zurich. Manegghof marks the end of the "Greencity" quarter and is being built for the two investment foundations Turidomus and Pensimo as well as the City of Zurich Retirement Homes Foundation (SAW). The designs were created by JSWD Architekten. '
On the last plot of the quarter developed by Losinger Marazzi, 179 apartments for older people as well as office and commercial space are being built. SAW) is taking over 60 apartments. The remaining 119 will be let by Pensimo to tenants aged 55 and over.
The building relies 100 % on renewable energies and will have a wooden façade. Completion and handover to the owners is scheduled for the end of 2026. (aw)
