Baar: Foundation stone laid for "Aura" office building
The project will create a total of 3,600 sqm of office and commercial space in the Unterfeld Nord area by spring 2027.
The foundation stone has been laid for the "Aura" office project in the Unterfeld Nord development area in Baar (ZG). Stocker Real Estate AG, the client, expects the building to be completed and the rental space occupied in spring 2027. The family-owned company is developing the building together with Martin Lenz AG, which is responsible for the overall project management and realization, and Vonplon Architektur AG, which developed the architectural concept.
The building with a natural façade comprises six floors above ground and offers flexibly expandable office space in the extended noble shell. According to the project website, 3,600 square meters of office and commercial space will be created. "One highlight is the so-called cone system, which integrates all heating and cooling systems in parapet ducts," writes Stocker Real Estate in a press release. A large part of the ventilation system has also already been installed. "This allows us to create generous clear room heights and significantly reduce ancillary and expansion costs for future tenants," says developer Martin Lenz. Visible installations or suspended ceilings for ventilation ducts would be largely superfluous thanks to the construction method. The energy supply is ensured by energy piles, a heat pump and a full-surface photovoltaic system on the roof. (aw)
