The demolition of the old properties on the approximately 11,400 square meter former industrial site located directly on Lake Constance has been completed; construction of the seven new buildings designed by architect Max Dudler and the renovation of the listed factory building is due to start in September. The plans include 148 condominiums (1.5 to 6.5 rooms) as well as communal areas, a co-working space and a fitness center; the first apartments are scheduled to be occupied by the end of 2027. Alexander Michel from the marketing company IT3 Immobilien + Treuhand AG reports that interest in the condominiums is high. Following the start of sales at the beginning of the year, numerous apartments have already been reserved; more than half of the 148 units have now been allocated (as of July 2025). Currently, 71 apartments are still for sale.

According to regional media reports, the developer of the project is the real estate company M.U.T. Areal Lakeside AG, based in Zug and part of the Mava Group, which acquired the site in spring 2019 and is investing between CHF 80 and 90 million there, according to the town of Romanshorn. (bw)
