Zurich: Shell of "Alto" high-rise completed
Hiag's 80-meter high-rise residential building is due to be inaugurated in the spring of next year.
An important milestone was reached recently in a Zurich high-rise project. Developer Hiag and total contractor HRS celebrated the topping-out ceremony for the Alto development in Altstetten. Once completed, the 80-meter-high building will comprise 149 rental apartments. Completion is scheduled for spring next year.
The complex comprises 23,000 square meters of floor space, including 2,100 square meters of commercial space in the base building. According to earlier information, communal rooms, studios and co-working spaces are also planned. Sustainability features include a photovoltaic system that will be integrated into the façade. (aw)
