Aarberg: Pension fund invests in Belano project
Construction work has begun on a residential complex with 36 managed apartments for senior citizens from Belano Zuhause.
Belano is building two apartment buildings with a total of 36 rental apartments at Murtenstrasse 20/22 in the center of Aarberg (BE). Completion is planned for fall 2027. The buildings will offer multi-generational living with services, a cafeteria, common rooms and a reception. The investor is the Visana Pension Fund. Demolition and excavation work began in the spring.
The rental apartments have 1.5, 2.5 or 3.5 rooms. Letting is expected to start in summer 2026. The construction project was designed by the architectural firm VB Architekten from Thun. Belano Zuhause is realizing the project and will take over the long-term operation. (aw)
