The Bern 131 office building has been completed. At the beginning of May, real estate developer and total contractor Losinger Marazzi handed over the building to owner Swiss Prime Site on schedule, according to a press release. The majority of the rental space has been let, according to the statement. The building offers around 13,500 square meters of flexible rental space at the entrance to the Wankdorf district, which is easily accessible by public transport. The architecture of Bern 131 is designed to make the most efficient use of the triangular plot. The designs were created by Atelier 5.

In June, Vaudoise Insurance and WSP Ingenieure und Berater AG will move into their new premises in the building. From fall 2025, the Office for Unemployment Insurance Canton of Bern (AVA), OPO Oeschger - Sales Office for Fittings and Tools, MTF Solutions and Zurich Insurance will follow with their regional headquarters, the Bern General Agency and the "Help Point".

The hybrid timber construction has SNBS Gold Standard certification and is equipped with photovoltaic modules on the roof and façades as well as geothermal probes. (aw)
