Wädenswil: 160 apartments planned on industrial site

According to plans by Hosoya Schaefer Architects, 160 rental apartments are being realized at Zugerstrasse 64 in Wädenswil (ZH). The conversion of the industrial site is being carried out under the auspices of Blattmann Metallwarenfabrik AG, which also intends to create more than 2,200 square meters of commercial space. In order to preserve the historical heritage, a 1,000 sqm shed hall from the Mewa factory will continue to characterize the site.
According to local media, construction is scheduled to start in the fall. The building permit has already been issued. There have been no objections, according to the "Zürichsee-Zeitung". (aw)
