Ascona: Al Porto opens another café with sales boutique

The company, which already has a total of seven cafés/sales outlets in prime locations in Ascona, Bellinzona, Locarno and Lugano in Ticino, has announced that a further patisserie/confectionery/bakery sales boutique is to open next summer in Via Albarella in Ascona - in the immediate vicinity of the Castello lake castle and the famous piazza. The planning phase for the interior of the store, which has been rented by the Tonaschia family, is already underway and the renovation work is set to begin shortly. According to the information provided, the café will have seating for around 40 people, while the accompanying terrace with views of the lake, the Brissago Islands and Monte Ghiridone will have another 60 seats.
