The Israeli flavors and ingredients manufacturer Frutarom was acquired by its US competitor International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) in 2018. In this context, the plant in Wädenswil was closed and the site sold to the real estate company F. Aeschbach AG. Frutarom's second headquarters was located in Reinach (AG) and was sold to the Portuguese flavor manufacturer Frulact in 2021, but without the surrounding building land. This consists of three building land parcels with a total area of 28,000 sqm.

In 2023, Swiss Commercial Invest AG was commissioned with the sale of all parcels. Within a short time, a suitable buyer was found in the form of Golistik AG from Reinach, which acquired all the plots for strategic reasons, Swiss Commercial Invest reports. Golistik AG is active in the storage of goods of all kinds and in the provision of logistics services. (ah)
