Halter AG is transforming the area near Suhr railway station, formerly closed and used industrially by Ferroflex AG, into a quarter. The perimeter includes a twelve-storey high-rise and three four- to six-storey residential buildings. The first residents are expected to move in in August 2023.

The high-rise building and the garden house will contain condominiums - a total of 59 units with 2.5 to 5.5 rooms will be built. Three commercial and restaurant spaces are planned for the ground floor. According to the project developer Halter, over 70% of space has been reserved at the time of the groundbreaking ceremony on August 18.

The two larger residential buildings with a total of 143 rental apartments were acquired by PKE Vorsorgestiftung Energie. The diverse types of apartments - from micro apartments to 2.5 to 4.5 room apartments and shared apartments for four parties - will be marketed from autumn 2022. Studios of various sizes will be rented out on the ground floor of both buildings. (ah)
