Zurich: Hotel Savoy on Paradeplatz becomes "Mandarin Oriental Savoy Zurich
The Hotel Savoy on Zurich's Paradeplatz will be refurbished from 2022. The hotel is scheduled to reopen in 2024 with a new operator.
The Savoy Hotel Baur en Ville (main shareholder: Credit Suisse) on Zurich's Paradeplatz will cease operations for around two and a half years from 2022 due to a refurbishment. In future, 80 rooms instead of the current 104 are planned; there will be no changes to the façade, apart from an adjustment in the entrance area.
When it reopens in 2024, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group will take over the management of the hotel, which will then be run as the "Mandarin Oriental Savoy Zurich" hotel. (bw)
