According to Swiss Commercial Invest AG, the property on Industriestrasse in Birr (AG) comprises 1,700 sqm of office space as well as 3,300 sqm of logistics space including an automated small parts warehouse with more than 21,000 bin locations.

The office and logistics building was built in 1993 as the Swiss headquarters of the French electrical engineering group Legrand and was sold to Brack.ch in 2009 as part of a sale-and-leaseback transaction, according to Swiss Commercial Invest. After the online retailer relocated its logistics activities to Willisau (LU), the Birr site was closed down, it says. As part of a structured sales process, a single user has now been found in Covin AG, a trading company from the food industry.

Swiss Commercial Invest was exclusively commissioned by Brack.ch to market the property. (ah)
