Zug Estates: Building permit for university campus in Rotkreuz
The approval for the construction of the university campus at Suurstoffi in Rotkreuz is legally binding. This is reported by Zug Estates Holding AG, the company responsible for the project.

No complaints were received within a 20-day period regarding the building permit issued by the Risch municipal council, according to a media release from Zug Estates. This means that construction of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts' Suurstoffi campus can begin. Completion is scheduled for summer 2019.
The Suurstoffi West development plan was adopted by the Risch municipal assembly on November 29, 2016, and approved by the cantonal government of Zug on March 28, 2017. On the Suurstoffi site, right next to Rotkreuz train station, a sustainable, mixed-use neighborhood is being created that will one day provide space for around 1,500 residents, around 2,000 students and over 2,500 jobs.
