Procimmo: Founders Buy Streetbox Companies
Arno Kneubühler, Cédric Leimer, and Michel Niklaus now own the trademark rights to Streetbox. The new owners plan to expand outside of Switzerland with the modular, rentable commercial storage units.
Procimmo Group AG has decided to sell Streetbox SA and PIO 1 SA. The latter is held through the Group subsidiary Procimmo Invest AG. Arno Kneubühler, Cédric Leimer, and Michel Niklaus acquired the share capital. Kneubühler is the current CEO of Procimmo, while Leimer and Niklaus are co-founders of the company. The transaction was completed on July 1.
Streetbox SA owns and manages the Streetbox brand as well as the intellectual property rights to the Streetbox concept. «Streetbox SA intends to support the international expansion of the Streetbox concept in the future, particularly in France and Germany,» Procimmo writes in a press release.
The sale of Streetbox SA to Kneubühler, Leimer, and Niklaus has no impact on the Streetbox properties managed by Procimmo SA through its various investment vehicles. PIO 1 SA was founded in January 2024 but has not yet engaged in any business activities. The new shareholders intend to use the company in the future to acquire income-generating properties. Niklaus and Leimer served on Procimmo’s Group Executive Board until November 2023. (IB reported). In 2007, they were among the co-founders of Procimmo SA, which launched its first real estate fund, the Procimmo Swiss Commercial Fund, that same year.
Vaudoise Completes Acquisition of Procimmo
Procimmo was recently acquired by the Vaudoise Group. The merger was finalized on July 1, coinciding with the transfer of the Streetbox companies to Procimmo’s founders. According to Vaudoise, its stake in Procimmo currently amounts to 97.2% of the shares. The insurance group aims to acquire the entire share capital of the Procimmo Group. (aw)
