BFH: Bern University of Applied Sciences appoints head of MAS Real Estate

Roman Bürki has been responsible for the Master of Advanced Studies in Real Estate Management at BFH since the beginning of February.

On February 1, Roman Bürki took over as head of the Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) Real Estate at the Department of Architecture, Wood and Construction at Bern University of Applied Sciences BFH. Bürki is Head of Real Estate at the pension fund of the technical associations SIA, Swiss Engineering, BSA, FSAI, Suisse.ing. He is also the owner of Advimmo GmbH, a consulting boutique in the field of building and real estate consulting, and is a member of the Board of Directors of Elmobau AG, which specializes in a recyclable timber element house. He is also a member of the advisory board of the Swiss Building Culture Foundation.

In previous positions, Bürki headed the client consulting department at Brandenberger+Ruosch AG in Bern and worked as a project manager at Kontur Projektmanagement AG and Itten+Brechbühl AG. He recently obtained an Executive MBA in General Management from the University of St. Gallen. Bürki completed the MAS Real Estate with several CAS degrees at the BFH and the Bachelor in Architecture at the ZHAW. He has also been active as a lecturer at BFH.
