Swiss Life: Britta Roden to head Research Real Assets

Roden will be responsible for cross-country research for real estate and infrastructure at Swiss Life Asset Managers from October.

Britta Roden will take over the international management of the Real Assets Research division at Swiss Life Asset Managers on October 1. "In this role, she will contribute her extensive experience in real estate and infrastructure research and will be responsible for the further expansion of research expertise in the area of real assets", the insurer's asset management division writes in a press release. In her new role, Britta Roden will report directly to Marc Brütsch, Swiss Life's Chief Economist.

Roden most recently worked as Head of Research for the fund provider KGAL in Munich and before that as Head of Real Estate Research at Münchener Hypothekenbank AG. Other employers included the real estate service provider Jones Lang LaSalle, the investment manager Invesco, the real estate bank Westimmo and the German research and consulting specialist Bulwiengesa.

Roden holds a Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Economics and a Master's degree in Economics from Tufts University in Boston (USA). She is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and is involved there as an examiner and counselor. (aw)
