Investissements Fonciers appoints new Chief Executive Officer

Former Ina Invest CEO Marc Pointet will head Investissements Fonciers SA, the fund management company of La Foncière.

The Board of Directors of Investissements Fonciers SA has appointed Marc Alexandre Pointet as Chief Executive Officer. The 51-year-old will take up his post on July 11. According to the press release, his task is to "diversify the services of Investissements Fonciers SA and further develop the La Foncière real estate fund".

Pointet holds a degree in architecture from ETH Zurich and supplemented his education with an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen (HSG). He was CEO of Ina Invest for five years until the Implenia subsidiary merged with the Cham Group. From 2006 to 2020, he worked for Mobimo, from 2013 as Head of Western Switzerland.

"Marc Pointet brings great technical expertise and extensive financial knowledge and will skillfully implement the strategy developed by the Board of Directors of Investissements Fonciers SA," says Chairman of the Board Christian Donzé.

Investissements Fonciers SA is the fund management company of the La Foncière real estate fund, which has been in existence since 1954 and has a market capitalization of more than CHF 2 billion. (aw)
