SMG Real Estate: New Head of Sales
Urs Scheuber comes from Barrier Immobilien AG and is to further develop the B2B segment of SMG's real estate activities.
SMG Real Estate, operator of brokerage portals such as Homegate and Immoscout24, has a new Head of Sales. The company has announced that Urs Scheuber has assumed the role of Head of Sales as of May 2. He will "make a significant contribution to further strengthening SMG Real Estate's proximity to its customers", the company writes in a press release. The appointment was made "as part of the strategic development of SMG Real Estate's B2B business segment". Urs Scheuber was most recently CEO of Barrier Immobilien AG.
The Swiss Marketplace Group also announces the appointment of Giuseppe Barbato as Head of Sales Operations. In this role, he will support Scheuber in the further development and automation of sales processes. He will also look after the most important key customers and act as Scheuber's deputy.
SMG speaks of a "realignment" on the way to a "more focused and effective B2B presence". (aw)
