Green Datacenter: New CCO Markus Meier joins from Erne
The former Managing Director of Erne Bauunternehmung will be responsible for all construction projects of the expanding data center operator.
Lupfig-based data center operator Green Datacenter has appointed Markus Meier as Chief Construction Officer. Meier has been responsible for the overall management of all Green's construction projects since May 2025. According to a press release, this includes both internal construction activities and those carried out for third parties.
Meier was most recently Managing Director at Erne Bauunternehmung for almost three years, before which he worked for the Implenia construction group for almost five years as Head of Master Builder Zurich.
According to Green, it plans to double its total capacity. The construction projects include a new data center at the headquarters in Lupfig and two new centers in Dielsdorf. (aw)
