Aveniq becomes major tenant at Konnex Baden
IT service provider Aveniq leases 4,000 sqm at Konnexx in Baden. SPGI brokered the lease.
The Konnex building complex in Baden continues to fill up: According to SPGI Zurich AG, Aveniq has signed a lease for an office space of around 4,000 sqm. The company is moving its previous location in Baden to Konnex at Brown Boveri Strasse 7 and occupying an entire section of the building.
According to the statement, the sustainability aspect was also a decisive factor in the choice of location. "The move to a modern, environmentally friendly building in Baden is part of our strategy in the area of corporate social and environmental responsibility," Aveniq CEO Christophe Macherel is quoted as saying in the SPGI Zurich press release. The Minergie and LEED Gold sustainability certifications are therefore also important.
The building, which has around 35,000 square meters of usable space, is currently undergoing a total refurbishment that is expected to last until the end of 2024. In addition to office space, coworking spaces, conference rooms, serviced apartments and restaurants will then be created. (ah)
