Biberist: Permission granted for first new building on Papieri site
The building permit for the first new building on the Papieri site in Biberist (SO) is legally binding. This is announced by Hiag. Construction of a commercial building for the clean-tech company Librec can therefore begin at the beginning of 2023.
Librec will operate the first Swiss recycling center for batteries from electric vehicles in it. The handover and occupation of the fully leased commercial building is scheduled for the end of 2023. The new building consists of a multifunctionally designed commercial hall of more than 3,000 square meters with an office header. Further large construction sites are available on the site for users from the commercial and industrial sectors.
The site in Biberist is considered one of the most important development areas in the canton of Solothurn. It covers an area of 272,000 sqm and a usable floor space of 43,500 sqm. (aw)
