Capital increase for Immo Helvetic
The fund management of Immo Helvetic wants to carry out a capital increase for the real estate fund. The issue volume is expected to be CHF 35 million.

Immo Helvetic holds real estate worth more than 926 million, according to its fund management company Berninvest. The portfolio consists mainly of residential buildings in the canton of Bern and the Mittelland region. The fund is also represented in the cantons of Aargau, Fribourg and Zurich, as well as in other regions.
Now, up to 200,000 new share certificates of Immo Helvetic are to be issued, which would increase the number of outstanding share certificates to 4.2 million. The capital increase is to be carried out in June, the payment of the new shares is set for June 30, 2017.
Within the subscription period, current unit holders can acquire new units in the real estate fund based on their subscription rights. New investors can participate in the capital increase through the subscription rights trading on the SIX Swiss Exchange, Berninvest informs.
The subscription price is still open, but will be composed of the net asset value (after distribution) as of the close on December 31, 2016, plus accrued income, issuing commission and incidental expenses provided for in the fund agreement, Berninvest added.
The proceeds of the issue are to be used to redeem borrowed funds and to finance the new construction projects.
In the 2016 financial year, Immo Helvetic reported a performance of 15 percent, the fund management spoke of the "best financial year ever".
