LUPK: Raphael Furrer new Head of Real Estate
The new real estate manager has already been working for the Lucerne Pension Fund for five and a half years.

The Board of Directors of the Lucerne Pension Fund (LUPK) has appointed Raphael Furrer (37) as the new Head of Real Estate and as a member of the Executive Board as of May 1, 2026. Furrer has been working as Real Estate Asset Manager at LUPK since August 2020 and succeeds Salvatore Talerico. Talerico is looking for a new professional challenge after four successful years at LUPK, the pension fund announced.
Furrer is a business economist and holds an MAS in Real Estate from Curem at the University of Zurich. He has been working for LUPK since 2020, having previously worked for BVK as a portfolio manager for six and a half years. He has «made a significant contribution to the successful further development of the LUPK real estate portfolio in recent years», writes his employer.
