Streetbox significantly reduces the vacancy rate

The fund increased its rental income and net income in the first half of the year.

The «Swiss» sub-fund of Streetbox Real Estate SICAV reduced its vacancy rate by 45.1% in the first half of its financial year (reporting date: September 30). The current vacancy rate of 2.5% is the lowest to date. However, the rent default rate rose slightly from 7.2 to 7.7%. The subfund reported a rising return on investment of 5.8% over twelve months.

In the first half of the year, rental income increased by 3.25% and amounted to CHF 6.3 million. Expenses for the subfund decreased by 2.8% and amounted to CHF 3.2 million. As a result, the net result increased from CHF 3.1 million to CHF 3.3 million. Due to revaluations of CHF 6.7 million (previous year: CHF 0.5 million), total income rose considerably from around CHF 4 million to CHF 9.1 million. There were no purchases or sales. (aw)
