The speakers of the 67th Real Estate Talk are known
On February 16, 2017, the 67th Real Estate Talk will be held at the Metropol Restaurant. Two first speakers are known, more will follow shortly.
We are very pleased that Markus Mettler, CEO Halter AG, and Marc Rudolf, Director Greater Zurich Area, will appear at the 67th Real Estate Talk on February 16 at the Metropol Restaurant. The popular event series, organized by IMMOBILIEN Business, is dedicated to relevant topics from the real estate industry several times a year.
An exciting event is expected to take place on February 16 on the topic of "How does Switzerland remain competitive".
Traditionally, Switzerland is one of the most attractive locations. In the rankings of WEF and others, it is regularly at the top. At present, however, it seems that politicians and citizens are actively working to damage Switzerland's attractiveness for international companies. The settlement of new companies seems to be slowing down, relocations are increasing. The strong franc is not the only determining factor. With discussions and laws on issues such as the inheritance tax, second home initiative, Lex Koller, mass immigration initiative and others, the confidence of international companies and individuals seems to be waning. For real estate owners, this is very bad news: the value of their investment depends directly on an attractive location.
