The management of the new branch office in Bern will be taken over by Dr. Alain Chaney. The Bern-born economist has ten years of experience in the Swiss construction and real estate market. During the last eight years, he held various positions at the real estate consultancy IAZI, most recently as a member of the management board responsible for valuation and portfolio management. Chaney is a member and assessor of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

The Bern office is being set up in collaboration with the consulting teams in Zurich and Geneva. From the partner board, Chaney is supported by Patrik Schmid (Zurich) and Hervé Froidevaux (Geneva).

According to Wüest & Partner, the aim of its presence in Berne is to provide those involved in the real estate industry and spatial development in the Berne region (Espace Mittelland) with an even better basis for decision-making. The aim is to consolidate and further expand its good position in the construction and real estate market of the federal capital and the greater Bern region.

The office premises are located at Münzgraben 6. The official inauguration will take place in April 2016. (ah)
