The healthcare real estate investment group of the Patrimonium Investment Foundation recorded significant growth in the 2019 financial year: with the realized purchases and ongoing construction projects, the investment volume now amounts to around CHF 300 million. To finance further growth and reduce the debt ratio, the investment group intends to carry out a capital increase with a volume of CHF 20 to 25 million. The deadline for capital commitments ends at the end of May and the next capital call will take place in June 2020, according to the management.

The investment focus of the investment group is on properties with medical use and retirement homes throughout Switzerland, with an emphasis on long-term (20 to 30 years) and index-linked rental agreements with established operators and a core-shell concept (maintenance of the property by the operator).
