Die Post Immobilien AG und die SBB planen anstelle des dunkelroten Postgeb\u00e4udes, das die Gleise beim Bahnhof SBB in Basel \u00fcberspannt, mit dem Nauentor ein neues st\u00e4dtebauliches Ensemble.<\/p>\n

Das Postbetriebsgeb\u00e4ude soll nach Pl\u00e4nen des Basler Architekturb\u00fcros Morger Partner bis auf das gleis\u00fcberspannende Tr\u00e4gergeschoss abgetragen werden. Auf diesem werden drei neue Sockelgeschosse mit verschiedenen H\u00f6fen und der \u00abNauentor-Magistrale\u00bb errichtet. Erg\u00e4nzt wird das Ensemble durch drei Hochbauten. Zwei kommen im Bereich Peter-Merian-Br\u00fccke\/Nauenstrasse zu stehen, der dritte an der Solothurnerstrasse.<\/p>\n

Im Rahmen der Planauflage des Bebauungsplans sind laut einem Bericht der Basler Zeitung<\/em><\/a> 16 Anregungen und Einsprachen eingegangen. Im Bau- und Verkehrsdepartement w\u00fcrden nun die Einwendungen gesichtet, bevor die Regierung dar\u00fcber entscheide und ihre Vorlage zuhanden des Grossen Rates verabschiede, heisst es dort. Noch ist nicht bekannt, was genau an dem Grossprojekt kritisiert wird und von wem die Einwendungen stammen.<\/p>\n
