Ziel sei es, das Areal zu einem \u00abInnovationsstandort f\u00fcr Smart City-Projekte mit Vorbildcharakter\u00bb zu machen, teilen der Stadtkanton und die SBB mit. Auf dem\u00a0Areal sollen Pilotprojekte f\u00fcr Smart-City-Vorhaben gepr\u00fcft und umgesetzt werden. Dazu wollen die SBB und der Kanton auch Partner aus Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und der Bev\u00f6lkerung einbeziehen.<\/p>\n

Eigent\u00fcmerin und Nutzerin des heutigen G\u00fcterbahnhofs Wolf ist die SBB. Derzeit ist das Areal mit einer Fl\u00e4che von rund 160.000 qm bahnbetrieblich unternutzt. In den kommenden Jahren werden daher grosse Teile des Areals – rund 100.000 qm – f\u00fcr andere Nutzungen freigestellt. Geplant ist ein neues Stadtquartier mit einem hohen\u00a0Anteil an Wohnen, erg\u00e4nzt mit Logistik, Gewerbe, B\u00fcrofl\u00e4chen und publikumsorientierten Nutzungen wie Retail und Gastronomie.<\/a><\/p>\n

Mit der Planungsvereinbarung soll das Areal Basel Wolf als \u00abSmart City Laboratory (Lab)\u00bb nach und nach zum Pilotquartier mit \u00fcberregionaler Ausstrahlung auf- und ausgebaut werden.\u00a0Bis Ende 2018 konzentriert sich das Lab auf Pilotprojekte in den Bereichen Mobilit\u00e4t und Logistik, ab dem kommenden Jahr \u00a02019 werden Projekte in weiteren Themenbereichen gepr\u00fcft.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
